Donate here to the Condors through the Hockey Equipment Lending Program (H.E.L.P.)

The Condors are a non-profit organization sponsored by H.E.L.P. (Hockey Equipment Lending Program). We engage in fund raising to cover the cost of participating in Special Needs tournaments, ice time, gear, and general team maintenance.

The program is entirely managed by parents and volunteers. Fees for the program are charged exclusively to pay for ice time. Donations to the Condors to help support and expand the program are fully tax-deductible, greatly appreciated, and will be promptly receipted.

Do you know about the California Condor?
Condors are considered sacred animals by many Native American cultures, particularly California Indian tribes and the Andean of South America. In the Quechua and Aymara cultures, of South America, the Condor is a symbal of the sky, and is frequently represented in tribal and dance.

The Mapuche people call the Condor the King of the Birds, and believe he embodies the four cardinal virtues of wisdom, justice, goodness, and leadership.

Due to poaching, lead poisoning and lack of habitat, the condor almost become extinct in the wild in 1987. All remaining wild individuals were captured but have been bred and the population revitalized in the past years.

What an amazing bird to have survived so much!
Pretty awesome that when the boys chose this name for the team, the parallel that was drawn?
Don't let the Condors become extinct, please show your support and keep the California Condors strong!
